The right formats: MP4, GIF and 9:16

The export supports MP4 and GIF (plus a PNG sequence for anyone who wants to keep editing). For TikTok, Reels and Shorts you choose the vertical 1080×1920 format — the 9:16 frame these platforms fill. For YouTube or a landing page you choose 1920×1080, and if you want the maximum, you render in 4K (3840×2160).

MP4 is the standard choice for social media: small files, high quality. GIF is ideal for short loops in an email, webshop page or Discord — just note that GIFs get large quickly with long fragments, so keep loops short.

How to make a visual in five steps

Step 1: Put VXR-SCOPE on your master bus (or on the bus of the element you want to highlight).

Step 2: Play the fragment you want to share — the hook is usually the best choice — and start recording in SCOPE.

Step 3: Stop the recording; the export panel opens automatically.

Step 4: Choose your format (MP4 for social), resolution (1080×1920 for TikTok and Reels) and quality.

Step 5: Export. The render runs in the background, so you can keep working in your session. Then drag the video straight into TikTok or Instagram and add your audio — or use the video with sound as a ready-made snippet.
